We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Foreman to oversee our Steel Manufacturing Warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing on-site operations, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high safety standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
Duties
Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations. Welding experience a must.
Coordinate and manage the work of welding and paint crews, subcontractors, and vendors.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
Monitor project budgets and assist in budgeting processes to ensure financial efficiency.
Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality and compliance with specifications.
Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices in construction management.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding project updates, challenges, and timelines.
Experience
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry is essential. Welding experience a must.
Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and general construction principles.
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
