Senior Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

The IT Infrastructure Operations department has got the over-all responsibility for all IT services in production, including day-to-day operations, improvement, and lifecycle management. We strive for operational excellence fostering a culture based on competency, collaboration, and people development. We are now looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to strengthen our department as part of the Application and Middleware team. You will work in a dynamic and self-driven environment, collaborating with Developers, Infrastructure Engineers and Business representatives, among others. The position will be part of a Trading & Risk Software Product Team and report to the Manager of Application and Middleware in Infrastructure Operations. In this role you will:Operate, maintain, and improve the Infrastructure towards one of our Trading & Risk Business Applications running in Linux using Oracle Databases. Optimize the application and infrastructure performance, scalability, and security on a wide range of different platforms and technologies. Take initiative to analyze, review and identify potential improvements and modernization points in existing environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to work on the dependencies and integrations with other Business Applications.  Participate in cross-departmental Product and Platform initiatives with a focus on Cloud Infrastructure. Stay updated with industry trends and propose improvements to infrastructure operations processes.
