Position Title: Team Manager
Reports to: DDST Board of Directors
Status:Part-time
Job Summary: This position is responsible for the administration and management of the Dickinson Dolphins Swim Team. He/She will work closely with the coaching staff and board to ensure a successful season.Qualifications: Must be a clear communicator with the ability to communicate to a range of individuals including; athletes, parents, coaches and board. Be aware of deadlines and complete all tasks on time. Strong organizational skills to have day to day operations run smoothly. Experience with HyTek Meet Manager and Team Unify is a plus, but are more than willing to train.Responsibilities: Collect and process Dolphin membership and registration fees. Keep a current team membership list of the names of all paid swimmers, USA numbers, parent's names, addresses, and telephone numbers. Organize online registrations for each season. Process and keep track of all USA swimming registrations both Athlete and Non-Athlete. Track all parent service points and submit to the board at the end of each season. Get pool usage hours from HC and keep spreadsheet current. Send to WRCC and Treasurer for billing purposes. Set up all team events and meet registrations through Team Unify and convey information to all Dolphin parents. Set up our yearly Swim A Thon through USA Swimming and Team Unify. When the event is complete make sure all laps and information is relayed to USA Swimming and all prizes are ordered. Receive all away swim meet contracts and notify HC and board. Complete the master sheets as required by the host swim club, and submit the entries and entry fees by the deadline stated in the contract. Prepare sanction applications through USA Swimming and reserve WRCC space for home meets. Process all Dolphin meet entries. Input all team relays together as instructed by the Head Coach. Provide forms for officials and other interested persons. Attend DDST board meetings
