Job DescriptionAs a Manage r of the Software Engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and envision future improvements to the architecture.Career Level - M2ResponsibilitiesTechnical leadership of solutions & products built in the team. Design solutions at the technical level, including determination of products to be used .Define the architecture of the solution and justification for choices made.Engage with deep technical understanding of the issues involved, including ability to troubleshoot to resolve problems.Engage at the code level as the need arises for features implemented.Implement the development process, including special requirements for DOD & Compliance requirements for NIST, DFARS, EU .Define and engage in the sprint planning process.Set realistic targets and execute per plan.Take care of dependencies & plan appropriately.Ensure QA processes are embedded into the development and release process.Plan for UAT, demos to executives.Engagement across teams & support stakeholders .Work with teams to understand and translate requirements to features.Active engagement with support engineers to test and release.Lead and motivate the engineering team.Build strong team with high and diverse skills to address problems which are across the spectrum (require broad knowledge) .Motivate team to tackle challenges using Oracle products as much as possible even if they are new .Disclaimer:Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations onlyUS: Hiring Range: from $84,800 to $223,500 per annum. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
