ResponsibilitiesCHI St. Alexius is looking for a Full Time OR Surgery Scheduler to join the team!Works under the general supervision of the Clinical Coordinator. Provides and performs secretarial, receptionist and scheduling services associated with the overall operation of Surgical Services in accordance with the mission and philosophy of St. Alexius Medical Center. All the criteria-based duties and standards within this document will be performed according to the policies, procedures and guidelines of the Medical Center.What You'll Do:

Adheres to St. Alexius Medical Center mission, values, and Journey Beyond Excellence expectation to foster a compassionate, healing environment providing physiological, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and visitors.

Answers telephone promptly using proper phone etiquette.

Maintains accurate and current surgery schedule.

Communicates with Clinical Coordinator/Controller changes in the surgery schedule.

Provides assistance to physicians, patients, family members, visitors and staff as necessary.

Confers with OR Controller regarding room scheduling, block assignments, add-on cases, physician questions and concerns.

QualificationsEducation: High School student, graduate or equivalent.Pay Range$17.96 - $24.02 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
