Shipper/Receiver I

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Shipper/Receiver I. This position is location at the Youngsville, NC location. The Shipper/Receiver provides manufacturing expertise and support including but not limited to sorting, verifying, recording, and routing incoming and outgoing shipments.The hourly rate for this position is $19.00 per hour.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do: You will show a strong adherence to quality by continually seeking methods of improvement for all the position's functions. You will ensure that all products and parts adequately meet Eaton’s quality guidelines as they move throughout the shipping, or receiving, process and perform quality checks as instructed. You will operate and read hand-held RF units to find, move and allocate material You will use a resource management system (SAP) to process all incoming and outgoing freight. You will prepare items for shipment by assembling containers, posting weights and affixing proper postage and paperwork. You will interface with the shipping office, customer service, drivers, and carriers to ensure proper delivery. You will report irregularities, or equipment malfunctionsQualifications:Basic (Required) Qualifications: Minimum of two years’ experience in a manufacturing, logistics or warehouse environment including order selection, packing, and receiving processes High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school Relocation assistance is not available for this position, only candidate within a 50-mileradius of the facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.Preferred Qualifications: Good communication and interpersonal skills Experience using SAP, warehouse management system Basic understanding of Microsoft applications (for example Excel)Skills: Ability to use good judgment when handling material, with a safety focus Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.
