The Dry Ice Blaster is responsible for providing specialized cleaning and surface preparation services using dry ice blasting technology. This position requires fieldwork at various industrial, commercial, and municipal sites. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable working in physically demanding environments.
Key Responsibilities
Operate dry ice blasting equipment for cleaning surfaces such as heavy
machinery, electrical components, manufacturing equipment, and
industrial structures
● Set up and break down equipment on job sites, including compressors,
blasting units, and containment systems
● Ensure proper handling, transport, and storage of dry ice and related
materials
● Maintain cleanliness and readiness of equipment, reporting maintenance
issues promptly
● Adhere to all safety procedures, including PPE usage, confined space
protocols, and site-specific requirements
● Complete daily job logs, time sheets, and documentation as required
● Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, and team
members
● Travel to off-site locations and work flexible hours as needed, including
early mornings or weekends
Qualifications
● High school diploma or GED required
● Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
● Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
● Previous experience in dry ice blasting, pressure washing, sandblasting,
or industrial cleaning preferred but not required – we provide training
● Basic mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability
● Willingness to travel for multi-day jobs (per diem and lodging provided
when necessary)
Working Conditions:
● Outdoor and indoor environments with varying temperatures and
weather
● Exposure to loud noise, pressurized equipment, and industrial materials
● Use of full PPE including gloves, respirator, hearing protection, and safety
glasses
Compensation & Benefits (Full-Time):
● Competitive hourly wage $24.00-$30.00+ (based on experience)
