Lewisville Motor Company has been in business for over 60 years and is in search of a good mechanic to dismantle cars. We don't work any nights or weekends. It's M-F 8-5.
This position is productivity-based with an hourly training period. The right candidate can easily make $20+/hour.
This position involved removing vehicle fluids, drivetrain, and several body or electrical components.
Responsibilities and Duties
Safe and efficient dismantling of late model cars and trucks
Removal, inspection, and processing individual parts, component assemblies, and body sections
Review vehicle information packet to guide the dismantling of each vehicle
Verify inventory condition of each component/part prior to location in warehouse
Accurately provide body sections and components based on descriptions from work-orders and supervisors
Qualifications and Skills
High School diploma or equivalent
Detail-oriented mindset with an excellent safety record
Previous mechanical experience (dismantling/body shop/etc) would be helpful
Provide your own hand and air tools.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
Drug and background screening
