As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Implement monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Arrange monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Achieve compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners
Complete other projects as required
Constantly improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Participate in various department-wide initiatives
Review financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics) Requirements - Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
Experience with ERP systems
Strong time management and organizational skills
We're looking for people with financial reporting systems proficiency
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired
Proven analytical skills - defining problems, collecting relevant data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending improvement/corrective actions
Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Command of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Strong familiarity with Cash Activity
Foundational knowledge in QuickBooks Online
Competence with financial data analysis and report generation that is prompt and accurate
Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
Ability to work well with functional department managers
5+ years of overall general accounting experience
