Chemist - Physicals Lab

Performs routine sample prep and analyses in support of product assessment and quality control on tobacco products utilizing one or more of the following instruments:RO-TAP Sieves, Filling Capacity, QTM, Flashpoint, Oven Volatiles, Hardness, Balances, or other special purpose equipment and/or multiple wet chemistry techniques and physical testing techniquesDocuments results accurately in notebooks and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)Performs instrument calibration, recognizes errors, identifies root causes, and applies process improvementsAssists in updating SOP's as neededProvide analyses support to method validation as neededAdheres to highest quality standards; ensures compliance with quality system requirements
