Change and Release Manager

Job Summary/Company:

A Sparks Group Partner is seeking a Change and Release Manager to join their team. You will manage the planning and communication among the Partner's internal teams by coordinating, reviewing, and approving all changes and releases. Currently, this position is remote due to COVID. Position will turn into a hybrid work schedule; candidate must be willing to go to the Partner's site as needed. The 2 site locations are Dallas, TX and Winston-Salem, NC. Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all processes and policies pertaining to Change and Release Management are up-to-date and followed
  • Review Change Tickets for accuracy, required fields, appropriate timelines and descriptions
  • Review Release Tickets for accuracy and confirm required documentation is attached
  • Ensure standardized methods, processes, and procedures are followed when introducing changes and new application releases
  • Ensure ticket workflows and lifecycles are followed
  • Prepare reports and metrics relating to change management
  • Work with Product and O&T teams to review/discuss Maintenance Windows

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • 5+ years of Change Management experience (designing and executing)
  • 5+ years of Release Management experience
  • 5+ years of experience with an IT Service Management ticketing system
  • 3+ years of Service Now experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to provide clear updates to all levels of the organization
  • Certifications: ITIL Foundation v3
