We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Brunswick Cove Living Center. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist in the implementation of customized treatment plans for our patients. Your main goal will be to help patients regain their mobility, strength, and overall physical function.Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans
Perform exercises and therapeutic activities with patients
Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities
Monitor and record patients' progress
Assist with equipment setup and maintenance
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
Valid license or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
