Primary Duties:
I. Prepare (Initialize) audio and video equipment and programs for weekly livestream of Sunday worship services based upon requirements outlined in weekly order of worship bulletin. Preparation includes insuring the following:
All microphones are tested and in good working condition. Sound checks performed as necessary; wireless microphone batteries checked and replaced as needed.
Cameras are operational - testing pan, tilt, zoom, and focus
Operating system (OBS) is up and running with latest updates installed
YouTube Studio is set to receive transmission
Lighting is on and set
Sanctuary and lobby speakers are operational
II. Perform audio and video functions associated with livestream/recording
III. Power off all equipment as required
Other Duties:
I. As required and based upon availability, other church-related activities, services, and events may require Audio -Video services. (weddings, celebrations of life, Bible Studies, etc.). Camcorder use is required for recordings & livestream not in the sanctuary.
II. Troubleshoot and implement/recommend fixes where and when necessary with Audio and Video equipment, A-V computers, and related software programs
III. Help to maintain equipment in good working condition
IV. Make recommendations to enhance Audio-Video operations, systems, and equipment
V. Keep Audio-Video staff aware of problems and issues
VI. Help create and manage media on ProPresenter program (PP7) and displayed on narthex and Fellowship Hall screens
Requirements: Above average skill and proficiency with Mac and Windows 11 hardware, related software programs, PTZ cameras and controller, and digital mixer used to livestream and record services in a semi-mature, steady state church environment
Programs used include: Canva, ProPresenter 7 (PP7), Open Broadcast Software (OBS), YouTube Studio
Installed hardware products include: Three PTZOptics robotic cameras and Behringer X32 digital mixer
