Estate Planning and Probate Law Firm - Office Assistant

Location: Brunswick County, Shallotte, NC (In-Person)

Hours: 35 hours per week- 4-day workweek possible to allow long weekends

Compensation: Hourly rate commensurate with qualifications and experience

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Office Assistant to join our Estate Planning and Probate Law Firm. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in various office technologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Proficiency in Office 365, Google Suite, and Zoom

Strong typing skills

Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities

Valid NC Driver's license

Clean criminal history

Key Responsibilities:

Greet clients in person, via phone, and online

Schedule and manage appointments

Witness estate planning documents

Manage Client Relations Management (CRM) system, including tracking and organization

Assist with business promotion activities

Organize and maintain document files

Prepare legal documents and correspondence using word processing software

Handle general administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations

Required Skills:

Proficiency in Office 365, Google Suite, and Zoom

Excellent telephone etiquette

Strong typing abilities

Attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

. NC Notary Certification also a plus.
