We are now hiring for an EXPERIENCED KITCHEN LEAD at The Sailfish & Ballyhoos!
POSITION IS FULL TIME
JOB SUMMARY
Cook meats, fish, vegetables, soups, and other hot food products as well as prepare and portion food products prior to cooking. Also, oversee staff during shift to help train, direct, delegate, & guide to ensure the proper flow of service and optimal use of the time.
Candidate must have 2 years of experience and be friendly, outgoing, and team oriented.
- Reports directly to the Head Chef or Sous Chef
- Responsible for the quality of products served
- Substitute for or assist other cooks during emergencies or rush periods
- Assists in food prep & cleaning assignments during off-peak periods as needed
- Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes
- Availability to work Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Memorial,4th of July and Labor Day holiday weekends is required. As a restaurant on the water accessible by boats, many choose these holidays to visit our restaurant with their families and friends. Making us a destination spot over Spring/Summer holidays.
