Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description We are seeking an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Wilmington, North Carolina. The role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring efficient processes and accurate financial reporting. The successful candidate will be adept at using various accounting software systems and will have a strong understanding of enterprise resource planning.Responsibilities: Oversee the accounting department's daily operations Ensure that all financial reports are accurate and delivered in a timely manner Utilize accounting software systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency Implement and manage enterprise resource planning systems to coordinate business operations Leverage knowledge of ADP - Financial Services for financial management and planning Utilize Great Plains (GPAC) for accounting functions and financial management Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness Conduct regular auditing to ensure compliance with regulations and accuracy of financial data Manage billing functions, ensuring all invoices are accurate and paid on time Lead and manage a team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
