Who knows where our shared journey will take you?Siemens Smart Infrastructure is looking for interns for our Electrification and Automation division in Wendell, NC to support our portfolio of protection and automation products and solutions. A variety of opportunities are available across the business supporting project design tasks, operations, product development, special projects and process improvements. On-site requirement will vary based on team placement – as will expected working hourYou’ll make an impact by:
Learn the technology of necessary devices including SIPROTEC / SICAM A8000
Review troubleshooting and testing of various devices
Create work instructions on configuration / testing / troubleshooting of SIPROTEC relays
Create work instructions on configuration / testing / troubleshooting of A8000 substation automation products
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:
Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student studying Electrical Engineering.
No housing or travel/relocation compensation assistance
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to prioritize work and meet project deadlines.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Experience with MS office products with proficiency in MS works, Excel and PowerPoint

The hourly pay rate for this position is $25.00-$30.00/hr. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
