We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing in our Future Grids portfolio to create the power distribution grid of the future.We are looking for a Mechanical Quality Inspector for our MCC team on 1 st shift. This position will be based at our Wendell, NC facility.The Inspector position is responsible for performing the in-process inspection duties on our MCC structure products, this is an in-process inspection position on the assembly lines.Responsibilities

Perform in-process inspection mechanical duties, including verification of all proper bus assemblies

Inspect each product to company Quality Standards and given guidelines.

Reviewing specifications and drawings to ensure that products have been built correctly on assembly line.

Troubleshoot equipment failure and implement corrective action.

Prepare and maintain inspection and quality reports.

Work with production and engineering teams during the inspection process and report any findings.

Adhere to developed processes, methods and/or seek ways to improve.

Must adhere to all safety rules and keep safety first for self and others.

Perform miscellaneous other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:

1+ year of prior work experience with production & inspection on the MCC structure line.

1+ years of experience working with Torque wrenches and torque verifications.

Strong Analytical skills to perform point to point or sequence of operation checks.

Experience working with various types of inspection tools and have knowledge product drawings.

Must have the ability to read and work with schematic drawings/layouts/wire lists, to include circuit troubleshooting.

Basic computer skills

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Conform with Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policy and Management System and strive to continual improve the intended outcomes of the Management System.

Preferred Qualifications:

High school / GED

Experience working with SAP, Salesforce and SieOps.

Advanced knowledge working with 3D models and engineering drawings.

The hourly pay for this position is $22.46. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
