Who knows where our shared journey will take you? We are looking for an Application Engineer to support our Low Voltage Motor Control Centers product line. This position will be based at our Wendell, NC office and allows a hybrid schedule of in office and remote work.Roles & Responsibilities

Reviewing Customer specifications, commercial and technical documents, and product requirements.

Collaborating with Engineers within the Business Unit to generate technical solutions for the Siemens suite of products.

Preparing customer facing proposal packages.

Collaborating with Siemens Business Development Managers, Legal Counsel, Sales and customer in the industrial, construction and utility markets on technical, legal, contractual, and commercial issues to generate bookings.

Working closely with the Project Management Organization team for an efficient handover of the project from the Bid Phase to the Project Execution phase.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field (or foreign equivalent) and 3 years engineering experience in the job offered or acceptable alternate occupation.

Ability to analyze customer’s technical documentation to interpret and apply appropriate product offerings.

Excellent communications skills

Excellent collaboration, leadership, and decision-making skills in a team environment with demonstrated ability to perform and prioritize simultaneous tasks while maintaining excellent customer service.

Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office tools.

Basic financial knowledge to understand and participate in ongoing business planning and product support as well as project lifecycle management processes.

Up to 10% travel required to attend trainings, workshops, events, and special meetings.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree is preferred and may be substituted for two years of experience.

Proficient in the design and application of electrical distribution products.

Familiarity with ANSI, IEEE, UL and NEMA standards for power distribution applications.

Working knowledge of standard protection and control technologies used in low voltage power distribution products.

Motor Control Center engineering experience or Siemens equipment experience.

Local candidates in and around the Raleigh / Durham area.

Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

The pay range for this position is $59,430 - $101,880. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
