Maintenance Front Line LeaderDescription:Position Title:Maintenance Front Line LeaderPay Rate :$104,100-127,300Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.Category/Shift :SalariedPhysical Location :1785 Weyerhaeuser RoadVanceboro, NC 28586The Job You Will Perform:The New Bern Mill is currently seeking an Electrical/Instrumentation Maintenance Front Line Leader. This role will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of maintenance employees. The Maintenance Front Line Leader is responsible for team performance, team member engagement, and achieving manufacturing results.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESThe key accountabilities listed below are not to be considered all-inclusive; a team member may be required to perform additional tasks, as directed, and based on changing business needs of the company. Supports and leads efforts that include an injury-free environment through role modeling safe behavior, active involvement in safety activities and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.

Completes the First Line Leader (FLL) Onboarding/Proficiency Curriculum

Coordinates and leads efforts to support high performance work teams.

Leadership role in ensuring team member relations, efforts, and processes are in place to maximize team member engagement and results.

Leads, provides guidance, and/or supports teams as needed to achieve small team goals, daily responsibilities, and overall achievement of mill goals.

Provides feedback, coaching, support and, when necessary, take corrective measures, to ensure all team members have a positive, productive, and safe work environment.

Provides coaching and training to team members as needed for technical, behavioral, and individual development opportunities.

Communicates as needed with team members and mill leadership for resolution of safety, quality, cost, production, and personnel issues.

Responsible for developing Weekly Maintenance Schedules.

Responsible for assuring that repairs are completed properly, utilizing precision practices and high quality workmanship, for all corrective and preventive maintenance work.

Responsible for safe and quality execution of all maintenance work.

Communicates and leads the application of facility policies and standards.

Active in one-to-one and individual development plan process.

Coaches safety in others and leads by example.

Understands and meets internal and external customer requirements.

Develops, maintains, and uses reliable methods for all processes and their improvements.

Assists other team members in the mill as necessary to minimize downtime and maintain quality.

Maintains and develops team relationships.

Positive, upbeat attitude that instills confidence in personal leadership ability.

The Skills You Will Bring:Required:

E&I maintenance experience required

Demonstrated and successful leadership ability in a manufacturing environment, including knowledge of and leadership in manufacturing safety practices.

Commitment to leading New Bern to an injury-free work environment through leadership and role modeling safe behavior and personal attention to and direct involvement in safety activities and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.

Must have a high level of integrity, energy, and leadership ability to develop and lead others.

Demonstrated and successful ability to lead and continuously improve team performance in order to work injury-free, provide a quality product, and achieve world class productivity in support of a high performance work system.

Effective oral and written communications skills with proven ability to provide positive and improvement feedback, coaching opportunities, and take corrective measures as appropriate.

Strong computer skills required

Preferred:

Excellent skills in organizing, planning, priority setting, and time management, with proven ability to adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.

Ability to effectively facilitate problem solving or conflict resolution processes.

Ability to work with process team members, maintenance, and suppliers.
