Senior Cost Analyst

Description A Senior Cost Analyst is being sought by the Operational Cost Accounting Department of a International manufacturing company. The Senior Cost Analyst will maintain the standard costing system, insure Bills of Materials have accurate costing, analyze current cost standards, develop new product costing, and perform cost and profitability analysis for new production technology and analyze price/mix profitability on a monthly /YTD basis. The company wants a BS in Accounting or Finance with an MBA/CPA preferred. The Senior Cost Analyst must be detailed but also able to see the big picture. Technically having advanced Excel proficiency (V-lookups, Pivot tables, etc.) is required, AX Dynamics is a plus. For immediate consideration, please submit resume directly or call jocelyn Gasque at 336-297-7295 for additional information Requirements Minimum of three years experience in a Cost Accountant role within the Manufacturing industry Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting principles and practices Experience in developing and maintaining Cost Models Proficient in Standard Costing techniques and practices Demonstrated experience in Budgeting - Forecasting Experience in Forecasting & Modeling Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not required.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
