SUMMARY: The Welder's primary responsibility is TIG and MIG welding of aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. MIG welding could also be a part of this job. Each job must be run with safety, accuracy and timeliness in the welding area.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Use and operate Bartimaeus By Design's TIG/ MIG welding machines to produce parts.
Must be able to read and follow blueprints.
Determine, from print, critical dimensions, materials needed for job.
Fit assembly and weld as needed to avoid weld distortion.
Use measuring instruments such as a scale, level, square to ensure part tolerance.
Perform other job-related duties as needed.
Regularly sustain physical capabilities throughout the day
Stand on concrete for extended periods of time.
Lift and move parts throughout the plant (up to 50 pounds).
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Communicate with co-workers, management and others in a courteous and professional manner.
Educational Experience-
Must be willing to take and pass Bartimaeus by Design welding test
Some coursework or years of experience required
