Guides a team of 5-10 employees. Provides assembly training for new employees, following standard work instructions. Coordinates with 1stshift production lead for daily priorities. Troubleshoots basic equipment issues. Strives to achieve 100% on-time shipments to customers. Job Duties:

Demonstration of good interpersonal and leadership skills to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Prioritize safety for all team members.

Oversee day-to-day teams’ operation and performance.

Build and test pumps using various common hand tools and power assisted assembly tools.

Follow all manufacturing procedures and standard work.

Troubleshoot and rework pumps as needed.

Use precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specified tolerances.

Operate automatic and semi-automatic assembly equipment.

Interpret bill-of-materials and drawing in order to properly assemble various products.

Participate in overtime as required to meet customer demands.

Consistently maintain product flow.

Consistently meet quality standards.

Meet absenteeism/tardiness performance standards.

Maintain a positive and professional attitude.

Work effectively as part of a team.

Multi-task and remain flexible with changes.

Troubleshoot and when possible, make necessary minor equipment repairs to continue production.

Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving events.

Summarize & communicate outcome of each shift with manager.

All other duties as assigned by Manager.

Required Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or equivalent.

· 1-3 years of assembly manufacturing experience. Leadership experience is a plus.

· Strong communication skills and ability to read, speak, and write English.

· Ability to follow written/verbal instructions and directions.

· Ability to multitask and be detailed while performing all tasks.

· Must have adequate knowledge of math required to complete basic productivity calculations.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 26lbs or more.

Must be able to walk, stand, bend, and lift for up to 5 hours.

Good eye/hand coordination.

Ability to handle intricate parts with hands.
