Description Robert Half is eagerly seeking a dedicated and reliable Billing Clerk for our client located in Statesville, NC. This contract-to-hire position is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a keen eye for detail and a knack for numbers.If you enjoy using your analytical skills to solve problems, manage invoices, and ensure the accuracy of financial documents while maintaining a superb level of customer service, then we would like to meet with you.Key Responsibilities:
Issue invoices and bills and send them to customers through various channels (email, mail, etc.).
Resolve billing issues in a timely and accurate manner.
Categorize and file invoices and bills, maintain updated records of invoices and receipts.
Ensure that all transactions are correctly classified and recorded.
Check the data entered in the database to make sure it's accurate.
Assist with customer account reconciliations.
Participate in routine audits to ensure compliance.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a Billing Clerk or similar accounting role.
Sound knowledge of billing procedures.
Proficiency with MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent math skills and the ability to handle numbers and financial data.
Excellent communication ability and problem-solving skills.
High School diploma or equivalent.
