Deli / Salumi Formaggi Artisan - Eataly Silicon Valley

An Artisan has expertise on products and processes at a minimum of two retail stations at an Eataly. An Artisan shares knowledge about products and ingredients with guests and recommends products and portion sizes. Reports to the Fresh Market Assistant Manager.Assists the retail counters with daily operations as needed to ensure counters are running smoothlyEnsures retail supplies are in stock and being utilized properly at all stationsStocks counter and display refrigerators neatly, accurately and in a timely mannerSlices, weighs, labels, displays, sells and packages products per department standards and guest specificationsManages transfers between departments to ensure accurate inventory levels and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)Provides a steady presence on the floor, constantly interacting with guests, employees, vendors and visitorsPerforms other duties as required or assigned
