Watch our video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dt6QkIBVESY) to see our team build top-of-the-line skid steer loaders and compact track loaders.Under general supervision, coordinates, oversees and monitors activities within the machining center function such as safety training, area layout/planning and NPI or prototype assembly.This position requires thorough knowledge and demonstrated skills for fabrication processes, including but not limited to:

Basic CNC machining operations

Operating multiple/various types of CNC machining centers

CNC programming

Familiarity and ability to use PinPoint

Knowledge of CPS concepts and tools

Job Responsibility

Use of various tools provided in the work area to perform duties and may include the use of lifting devices to move heavy components of weights of more than 35 lbs.

Positioning heavy fabricated metal components in machining centers utilizing overhead and jib cranes

Inspection of work quality utilizing gauging and other measuring devices

In station repair/rework to machining related issues

Clearing common machining center system faults in all qualified work stations

Completion of routine maintenance (coolant changes, etc.) in all qualified stations

Set up of production tooling

Maintaining tooling inventory

May perform machining of simple as well as complex parts

Catalogue defects and resolutions and provides reports to Manufacturing Engineers and Quality to ensure resolution for future production

Follow and utilizing CPS principles of 5S, Continuous Improvement Idea Reporting, Waste Elimination, and Standard Work

Keeping work area in a clean and orderly condition

Must meet deadlines

Have the ability to multitask and prioritize work

Be a contributing team member

Train new and develop existing employees

Be a liaison between team members and section managers

Responsible for training other team members in standard work

Physical Requirements:

Willing and able to sit or stand for prolonged periods

Willing and able to perform repetitive operation

Willing and able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Required Qualifications

Advanced Mechanical/Machining Aptitude

Strong Communication skills between team members and section managers

Advanced problem solving skills

Desired Qualification

Knowledge and experience using manual lathes and mills, drill press, hydraulic press, hand tools, power tools.

Prior leadership experience

Intermediate proficiency in computers and Microsoft applications
