Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Supervisor. This position is based at our Roxboro, NC automotive facility.The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:The Continuous Improvement Supervisor (CI Supervisor) is accountable for providing leadership and establishing the linkage of the Eaton Business System (EBS) and lean manufacturing processes to drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence. The CI Supervisor oversees site cost productivity and labor efficiency goals, project decks, kaizen events and continuous improvement plans. This includes providing training, coaching, and mentoring for improvement activities to support goals and objectives of the corporation.Additional Responsibilities:

Coordinate and establish Eaton’s Business System pull priorities and annual CI Plans for the plant with the involvement of plant leadership team.

Coordinate and execute Kaizen events with cross-functional team members to identify and act on waste reduction opportunities.

Ensure annual self-assessments are completed to include but not limited to ELSS, CIF, OpA, as well as formal assessments when required. These assessments must identify gaps driving maturity levels, annual action plans to improve and include a process to monitor progress.

Monitor performance and CI plans for each value stream, participate in regular reviews and drive completion of the CI roadmap activities.

Mentor, coach, and challenge site team members in the integration and use of ELSS methodology to include but not limited to ELSS Tools, Rapid Improvement Events/Kaizen events, Six Sigma Projects, Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF), as well as the Lean Tool Certification Program.

Act as an instructor & Mentor for various ELSS training programs.

Build Organizational Capability by participating in annual development plans and provide input on organization capability/succession planning sessions

Perform all other duties as required.

Qualifications:Basic (required) Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university

Two (2+) or more years of experience in a lean manufacturing or continuous improvement related role within a manufacturing organization

Ability to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

Must currently reside within a 50-mile radius of Roxboro, NC to be considered. Active-duty Military are exempt from this geographical limitation

Preferred Qualifications:

Formal training/certification in Lean (5S, Standard work, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Setup Reduction (SUR), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean Material Flow (LMF) and 6 Sigma

Experience in implementing Lean in Low volume High mix type product environment

Experience managing/leading others

Can identify linkages between functions, impact of actions on functional decisions downstream, and how multiple functions work within a value stream.

Strong interpersonal and planning skills with a proven ability to lead change through both direct and indirect (influencing) abilities.

Ability to effectively communicate to different levels of the organization.

Ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills and understanding of problem-solving tools/methods (Six Sigma, 8D, etc.), goal setting, and performance tracking.

Ability to demonstrate proven experience in process development, implementation, and sustainability.

Ability to demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written.
