Looking for candidate that can join our Specialty Field Engineering Customer Experience Team. Project Handlers/Project Coordinators work with our customers to help quote and book new orders for several different services. These team members work with the engineers and customers to schedule projects and also manage the project from beginning to end. The team will work primarily out of Salesforce for their CRM Platform while leveraging other internal UL resources. Project Handler (rewritten for Specialty Field Engineering Front End Team)

Manage client calls and requests for the Specialty Field Engineering work

Organize and coordinate assigned client account work in a timely and profitable manger

Prepare client quotations and perform follow-ups

Communicate and schedule client projects

Keep up to date project statuses with the engineer and client

Work with business support to bill clients in a timely, concise and profitable manner

Maintain up to date knowledge of procedures, client requirements, and technical subject matter and utilize that knowledge to provide superior service and manage client work

Ensure program requirements are clearly documented, communicated, and updated throughout the organization, and leverage support where needed.

Coordinates administrative aspects of project management.

Serves as Project Handler of record as assigned.

Communicates project status and results to clients through frequent contact.

Prepares Follow-Up Service Procedures and information pages. Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.

Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.

Performs other duties as directed.

This is a Hybrid role based out of Raleigh, NC, Norhbrook, IL or Vancouver, WA with expectations to be in the office 3 days a week.

2 year Associates Degree or some college preferred.

Experienced problem solver and ability to work in a fast-paced customer service or sales environment.

Ability to demonstrate written, oral and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with staff and clients. Must be able to identify problems and offer workable solutions.

Demonstrate technical aptiude and the ability to learn quickly.

Ability to be flexible, engaged, and collaborative within a team setting.

Strong computer skills in Excel, Salesforce, Oracle and HCL Notes a plus.

The salary range for this role is $53,000 - $60,000 and is based upon years of experience that is commensurate with the level of the position. All employees at UL Solutions are eligible for annual bonus compensation. The target for this position is 5% of the base salary offered. Employees are eligible for health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental & financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country, for the relevant position level. We also provide employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
