Job Title: Delivery Driver
Job Summary: Partwerx Automotive is a distributor of aftermarket body parts to auto body collision repair shops with an emphasis on quality and exceptional service. We are locally owned, and we are dedicated to being the best, not the biggest. Our parts delivery team members are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of company delivery vehicles as well as establishing and maintaining outstanding customer relationships.
Job Functions:
Drive a company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner, avoiding traffic violations and accidents.
Physically load company truck at warehouse verifying the condition of the truck and the quality and accuracy of loaded parts.
Maintain all necessary daily paperwork such as manifests, expense receipts, mileage log, and driver return book.
Pick up buy-out purchase orders from vendors and deliver parts back to the warehouse or the customer.
Collect accounts receivable as necessary based on the customer’s account.
Education:
Experience:6 months of related driving experience preferred.
A safe driving record that meets our strict company standards is required.
21 years of age.
Some college courses are preferred. High school diploma or GED required.
Prior warehouse, driving, and customer care experience is preferred.
Proficiency with smartphone or tablet to navigate mobile applications.
Ability to perform basic math calculations, interpret maps, and ensure accuracy.
Must be attentive to detail and have good communication skills.
Qualifications:
Must be able to lift 75 lbs. and be able to load and unload company vehicles while maintaining.

Uniform pants and shirts will be provided and worn by drivers.
A safe driving record that meets our strict company standards is required to be maintained before and during employment as well as following all DOT rules and regulations.
Ability to inspect vehicles daily and to obtain routine maintenance to company-provided vehicles.
Good communication skills and the ability to build and maintain a customer base.
Ability to accurately complete essential paperwork. Obtaining signature at the drop-off location, collecting account receivable when applicable, completing daily manifest, return slips, gas receipts, etc.
Employment requires a passing background check and pre-employment drug screening.
