We are seeking a skilled 12v installer to join our team. As a 12v installer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems operating on 12 volts, commonly found in vehicles, boats, and other applications. Your primary focus will be on installing aftermarket accessories such as car audio systems, lighting, security systems, and other electronic components. You will ensure that installations meet industry standards and customer requirements while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
Install aftermarket 12v electronic systems and accessories in vehicles, boats, and other applications.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues related to 12v systems.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on 12v electrical components.
Ensure installations comply with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions and addressing concerns related to 12v installations.
Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Stay up-to-date with advances in 12v technology and installation techniques.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a 12v installer or similar role.
Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and components.
Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and diagrams.
Familiarity with hand and power tools used in electrical work.
Detail-oriented with excellent troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Skills:
Certification or training in automotive electronics or electrical systems.
Experience with specialized tools and equipment used in 12v installations.
Knowledge of vehicle-specific wiring diagrams and diagnostic procedures.
Experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models.
Familiarity with soldering techniques and wire harness fabrication.
Work Environment:
