Bud Matthews Services – A well-established residential general contractor / design-build & remodeling company based in the greater Chapel Hill area is looking for a project consultant / sales individual. The Project Consultant is responsible for securing the sale of residential remodel projects.

Responsibilities include communicating and/or meeting with potential clients to discuss the scope & feasibility of their desired projects. Offering alternative options if possible & providing a ballpark estimate of the cost. Excellent communications & customer service skills are essential as customer must be able to rely on your recommendations & expertise to guide their remodeling projects and/or repair service needs.

To be successful in this position, ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the residential construction industry & understand the complexities of residential remodeling. Above all, you will need to love what you do & want to represent a high-quality company who values you, prioritizes your work-life balance & empowers you to grow both personally & professionally.

Qualification Requirements:

· Two to three years of field experience with residential remodeling & repairs, products, application, & pricing.

· Estimating – obtain sub-contractor bids, do material takeoffs, & comprehend blueprints.

· Client Management – serve as primary contact with client to discuss updates & progression, answer questions, & resolve issues promptly & cost effectively.

· Sub-Contracting Management – scheduling, managing timelines, costs & quality of work.

· Financial Management – manage job costs & stay within budgetary goals.

· Prepare customer invoices.

· Ability to make excellent first impression & organizational skills through completion.
