Village Motor Works is adding more technicians to our team We are the ones downtown with the ugly building but a tremendous customer base Plus, we are the only full-service facility left downtown so as all of the High Rise buildings full of apartments are completed, our business will continue to grow.

And speaking of growth-We are a locally owned 5star independent facility that is hiring a Lead Technician and those who want to be Lead Techs one day. Come join a company where you are treated and compensated like a professional

Lead Tech can expect:

Sign on Bonus of $3500.00 (1,000 on Day one/1500 on day 90/1000 on day 120)

$85,000-$100K+ per year possible with base plus flat rate

$65.00/week tool truck stipend (requires current ASE A1-A8)

Responsibilities include:

The ideal candidate(s) should have a strong background in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle makes and models. The role involves performing routine maintenance, conducting inspections, and troubleshooting complex mechanical issues. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs.

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.

Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and propose necessary repairs or replacements.

Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify and interpret malfunctions in engines, transmission systems, and other vehicle components.

Provide accurate and detailed estimates for repairs and communicate effectively with customers regarding the recommended services.

Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and new repair techniques through continuous training and professional development.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that tools and equipment are properly maintained.

Collaborate with other team members, including service advisors and parts personnel, to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a commitment to a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.
