Full Time Service Technician Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service.
Punctuality and attendance are crucial.
Repair commercial and industrial laundry equipment at customer locations.
Fill out and submit service call paperwork completely, accurately and timely.
Work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays properly communicated to customer.
Effectively communicate with:
o Customers
o Dispatch
o Parts – including warranty return.
o Manager and other office co-workers.
o Equipment Vendors as necessary.
Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude
Strong electrical knowledge is required – ability to read and understand electrical schematics - ability to troubleshoot; experience with single, three phase and low voltage circuits and knowledge of AC and DC drives required.
Ensure compliance with company, industry and regulatory safety standards and protocols.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Excellent customer service skills.
Good computer skills.
Maintain a valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.
Must be legally eligible for employment in the U.S.
Must pass a drug screen, DMV check, and background check.
Physical Demands:
Requires walking, standing, driving, sitting, squatting, kneeling, reaching overhead, and twisting and turning.
Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
