High End Landscape Foreman

We are looking for new landscape team members who enjoy working outside, and like the feel of accomplishment at the end of the day. Hurst Landscapes, Inc. is seeking an experienced Full-Time foreman for our high-end landscape residential division for ongoing projects in the Triangle area. Typical work week is 40 - 45 hours. Landscape Foreman must be willing to work 50+ hours a week during peak seasons. We offer a competitive salary, profit sharing, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and paid holidays. Hourly pay is $24.00.

Landscape Foreman will possess the following.

-Skid Steer Experience Required

-Able to lead, and manage a crew of 2-8 landscape technicians

-Experience communicating with supply vendors, contractors, and the public with utmost professionalism

-Strong knowledge of different types of grass, trees, mulch, soils, and plants, and install procedures for residential landscape projects

-Operate power equipment (chainsaws, Skid Steer, Mini-excavator)

-Operate other tools, including rakes shovels, saws, axes, and shears

-Prepare time sheets and other daily landscape paperwork

-Irrigation experience a plus

-Hardscape Knowledge

-Ability to lift and or move up to 70 lbs.

-Able to work flexible schedule as needed to meet project deadlines.

-Clean NC Driver’s License Required, with your own reliable transportation to and from work.

-Ability to drive a heavy-duty truck and trailer

-Must be dependable, hardworking, trustworthy, on time, possess a positive attitude and get along well with others.

-1-2 years’ professional Landscape experience

-Associates Degree or bachelor’s degree in Horticulture
