Position Overview:
The Lead Carpenter will oversee and execute all carpentry-related tasks for residential bathroom remodeling projects. This includes managing demolition, framing, drywall, cabinet install, doors, windows, shelving, & trim. Candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards of quality and collaborating with other trades to deliver exceptional remodeling projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bathroom remodeling, extensive carpentry skills, and the ability to work well with a team.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of carpenters and subcontractors in all stages of bathroom remodeling projects.
Perform high-quality carpentry work including framing, cabinetry, drywall, trim work, and other wood-based tasks.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy in project execution.
Ensure all work is completed according to safety standards and local building codes.
Install, replace, and repair structures or fixtures as needed, including framing, walls, cabinets, counters, and trim.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure all materials are used efficiently.
Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other trades to ensure project timelines and expectations are met.
Provide guidance and training to junior carpenters on techniques, safety, and quality standards.
Ensure all project milestones are completed on schedule.
Qualifications:
5+ years of carpentry experience, preferably in residential bathroom remodeling.
Proven experience as a Lead Carpenter or Supervisor, with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Strong knowledge of bathroom construction and remodeling processes.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks at once.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
