Responsibilities: Monitors and answers phones, emails, and trouble tickets regarding IT issues and requests and ensures everything is addressed in a timely manner. Creates and manages accounts across all IT systems. Performs regular user account security audits. Performs offboarding procedures for user accounts. Manages designated software and Operating systems, installing patches, troubleshooting, and testing version changes before implementation utilizing System Center Configuration Manager and/or Intune. Serves as a subject matter expert for advanced helpdesk systems and processes and is a point of escalation for CST I for advanced systems and processes.Maintains Accurate physical inventory, tags devices, and performs inventory audits annually and on an as-needed basis. Participates in the purchasing process for the CS team, including acquiring quotes and working with vendors to determine business needs. Research new hardware/software configurations for end users and make suggestions based on this research. Test and documents new configurations before implementation. Creates and maintains network shares and performs regular audits of access permissions. Participate in desktop support 24x7 on-call rotation schedule. Escalates unresolved problems to staff with specific expertise, such as developers, network personnel, system engineers, and database administrators, in a timely manner.Supervisor may assign additional tasks within the scope of this classification as necessary. Requirements: Knowledge of advanced computer hardware (desktops, laptops, Macs, iPads, iPhones, etcetera), software (Windows, Microsoft Office, Apple OS X, iOS X, etcetera), and peripherals (printers, scanners, audio/video equipment, etcetera) functionality.Basic Knowledge of Management systems (AD, SCCM, Azure, Intune, 3rd Party)Basic Knowledge of networking and network troubleshootingStrong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills.Knowledge of general office environments and procedures.Organizational and time management skillsSelf-starter that can collaborate actively with others in a cross-functional team.Proven attention to detail and high standards for quality.Ability to stretch, bend, and squat.Some college education and 3 years’ experience or 3 years as CST 1Ability to stretch, bend, and squat Hiring Rate: $51,186 - $62,000 DOE Closing Date: July 21, 2024 This position is eligible for part-time telework for residents living near headquarters About the North Carolina Education LotteryWe raise money for a great cause!
