Chapel Hill Massage Collective is a joint collaboration of therapists who share a common goal of providing quality, inclusive, and safe holistic care for people in our community. We are an experienced, lighthearted, but professional group of therapists looking for others (Massage Therapists, Acupuncturists, Bodyworkers) to join our space. You make your own schedule, collect your own payments and get clients from the shared website, scheduling system and social media.
Monthly rent varies based on how many hours you work- ranging from $300-$600 a month.
We operate our collaboration differently than most of the private practices in the area. At CHMC there is no single “Owner”. Instead, we operate similarly to a cooperative. Our members/owners each have a voice in how the collective operates. The upkeep to run the practice is shared equally and in return, you become part owner and receive a yearly dividend. Our goal is to be fair, transparent and team structured.
Chapel Hill Massage Collective is located in the same building as the new North Carolina Birth Center,

Requirements for renting and becoming part of the collective:
Be a flexible team player who has the ability to self-manage and work independently.
Have a “proactive”, not reactive, work style, be flexible and responsible for clients and team members.
Ability to retain and reach out to new clients.
Have a valid license for the state of North Carolina.
Carry your own professional liability insurance and premises liability insurance.
We are located in the same building as the birth center, so prenatal massage is a huge plus!
