We are a growing specialty construction company working in both commercial and residential markets seeking to hire a professional sales manager based in Raleigh, NC to help us as we continue to grow.

Job Title & Description

As Sales Manager you would develop and manage client relationships, identify and originate project opportunities, and estimate and manage projects using your relevant sales and construction skills, experience and interests. This position will report directly to the General Manager and will work closely with the other sales team as well as operations and administration to identify and implement improvements with a potential to expand into managing others as well.

Job Responsibilities

There is exceptional room to grow in this position with job responsibilities that would include:

Identify new market opportunities

Conduct client calls

Develop and manage client relationships

Expand and grow market share

Originate bid opportunities

Estimate projects and land jobs

Help manage job documentation

Help develop new product lines

Help oversee job execution

Help manage others as needed

Work with operations and administration as needed

Skills, Experience & Interests

Relevant skills, experience and interests will be vital to the successful candidate, including:

Passion for the construction industry

Faithful, honest, hard-working, accountable, smart, humble, hungry, self-starter

Well-organized, attentive to detail, good with people, good communicator, good time manager and good at follow-up

Real-world construction experience, sales, plan reading, estimating, etc. would be helpful

Associates / bachelors degree in business, sales and/or construction would be helpful

Microsoft Office skills a must (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook), bid database experience helpful (Isqft, Dodge, etc.), take-off software helpful (Bluebeam, Onscreen, etc.)

Compensation

We want to find the right person, so total compensation package for this position will be extremely competitive based on the skills, experience, interests and performance of the successful candidate, including base compensation + commissions + benefits + company vehicle + bonus + paid time off.
