We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Part-Time Sales Estimator to join our team. If you’re a detail-oriented professional with experience in sales, contracting, and estimating, we want to hear from you!
Position Summary:
The Sales Estimator will be responsible for evaluating residential and commercial painting projects, providing accurate and timely cost estimates, and helping to secure new contracts. This role involves client interaction, site visits, and working closely with our operations team to ensure smooth project planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct site visits to assess potential painting projects
Prepare detailed and accurate project estimates for labor, materials, and time
Present proposals to clients, addressing any questions or concerns
Build strong relationships with clients to secure contracts
Collaborate with the project management team to ensure smooth transitions from estimation to execution
Follow up on leads, generate new business opportunities, and contribute to sales growth
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and industry trends
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, estimating, or contracting (painting or construction experience is a plus)
Strong analytical and mathematical skills for accurate estimation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and estimating software tools
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site visits
Position Details:
Type: Part-time
Location: On-site in Raleigh, NC (remote work options not available)
Hours: Flexible, approximately 15-25 hours per week (may vary depending on project volume)
Compensation: Competitive commission on secured contracts
