KB Stephens is a lighting manufacturer’s rep in the eastern NC market for the past 45 years. We are seeking candidates for an inside sales position. Candidates must be able to work in a fast paced, high-energy environment supporting the sale of lighting fixtures and controls. The inside sales rep provides support for the outside sales teams and constantly interacts with electrical distributors to generate orders.
Inside Sales Job description:
- Front line point of contact for quick quote requests submitted by email or phone.
- Cross competitor products with solutions we represent.
- Process project quotations using the Agile software system.
- Negotiate projects through the buying process.
- Stay engaged with the project up to the point of order entry. This includes submittals and order prep.
- This is a full-time position located in Wake Forest NC.
Basic Qualifications of the Inside Sales Representative:
- BS/BA degree, AS/AA degree, or equivalent in relevant experience.
- Preference given for experience or sales experience in a construction related environment, wholesale electrical distribution, or lighting specific business.
- Proven ability to work with multiple organizations with effective communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Proven attention to detail
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Ability to read and understand lighting fixture schedule and lighting plans.
- Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Windows in general
- Excellent written/oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in a deadline-conscious, results-driven, sales environment.
