We are looking for a reliable and personable Door Staff/Security team member to join our downtown Raleigh bar.
This is a part-time position, with shifts on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 PM - 2:30/3:00 AM, plus potential weekend coverage as needed.
Responsibilities:
-Greet guests upon arrival and ensure a welcoming atmosphere
-Check IDs to verify legal drinking age
-Monitor guest behavior and de-escalate any conflicts professionally
-Maintain a calm and authoritative presence in a lively nightlife setting
-Assist in closing duties, including cleaning of the establishment
Requirements:
-Minimum Age Requirement 25
-Punctual and dependable with strong communication skills
-Ability to remain composed in high-energy or challenging situations
-Deescalating confrontational situations
-Taking action for others safety physically and verbally
-Remain alert and vigilant while on duty
-Experience in security, hospitality, or customer service is a plus
-Physically capable of standing for extended periods and handling security-related tasks
