Keep all refinery assets in proper working condition to allow the plant to meet production goals.
Job Responsibilities:
Execute work orders for the preventative maintenance program for all process equipment within the facility.
Execute work orders for reactive maintenance requests within the facility.
Provide timely response to off-hour calls for service required to support refinery for continuous plant operation.
Work jointly with outside contractors performing services for Noble Oil Services within the facility.
Participate in the design, layout, and installation and modifications of all process equipment within the facility.
Aid the Maintenance Coordinator in the specifying, sourcing, and purchasing new equipment, repair parts and consumables for the facility.
Proficient in all job functions within the facility in order to respond to any manning deficiencies.
Keep accurate records of all maintenance work performed.
Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.
Maintain certification for confined space entry, lock out/tag out, equipment usage, etc.
Maintain compliance with the random drug testing policy.
Typical projects include but not limited to:
Equipment installation and repair
Hydro-blasting exchangers and process piping
Sand blasting and painting
Installation and upgrade of process controls and electrical equipment
Confined space entry work for projects such as tank cleanings and repairs
Major piping installation projects.
Boiler and heater maintenance, repair and cleaning
Minor light truck and heavy equipment repairs
Safety upgrades to commercial vehicles
Most projects touch on all disciplines and require experience with fluid dynamics, pump curves, power transmission and controls systems.
Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.
Requirements:
Three (3) years’ experience in industrial maintenance, refinery operations OR equivalent training.
High School diploma or equivalent required
Familiarity with pump repair, piping systems and fluid dynamics
Familiarity with welding and fabrication processes
Familiarity with electrical switchgear, power distribution and controls
Familiarity with sand blasting and hydroblasting operations
Excellent communication skills, oral and written
Ability to keep detailed records of work performed
Ability to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays
Ability to climb stairs and ladders
Ability to work at heights reaching 50 feet above grade
Ability to work in confined spaces and maintain confined space certification
Ability to be fitted for and work wearing full face respirator
Ability to maintain HazWoper certification
Ability to lift and carry 50lbs
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
Ability to stand for long periods of time
