Location: Durham, North Carolina
Position Type: Full-time, Direct Hire
Hourly Rate: $17.50/hr
Schedule: Flexible schedule based on project needs; may include weekends and varied shifts

Job Description:
As a Traffic Control Technician (TCT), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of construction teams and the public by managing traffic flow and work zone setups. Working closely with construction crews, you will create and maintain safe work zones, direct traffic, and uphold regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, maintain, and remove work zones according to MUTCD and DOT regulations.
Safely load and unload work zone equipment to and from company vehicles.
Drive company vehicles to and from job sites in compliance with safety protocols.
Maintain cleanliness and report any safety concerns or vehicle issues.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- MUST HAVE Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving history.
- MUST HAVE Clean background with minimal exceptions
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods in various weather conditions.
- Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening (both mouth swap AND urine lab test)
