Job Title: In-Home Caregiver for 84-Year-Old Male with Dementia
Location: Morrisville, NC
Job Type: Full-Time, (Paid Weekly)
Shift: 5-8 Hour Shifts
About Us: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated in-home caregiver to provide support for an 84-year-old male client living with dementia. Our goal is to ensure his comfort, safety, and well-being while maintaining his dignity.
Responsibilities:
Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations.
Help with meal preparation.
Drive the patient to doctor's appointments and other necessary outings.
Monitor and document changes in behavior or condition.
Ensure a safe and clean living environment.
Support mobility and physical activities as appropriate.
Housekeeping required.
Qualifications:
CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or PCA (Personal Care Assistant) certification is required, also Home Health Aides.
Previous experience in caregiving, particularly with dementia patients, is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a caring attitude.
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for transportation.
Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
A background check is required.
