The FOH Bartending position is an integral part of the FOH team. With an already solid foundation of all sushi and authentic Japanese menu, basic operations and leadership, a FOH team member will also continue to gain increased maturity, self-reliance of all areas of the food prep, knowledge, multitasking, phones, reservations, while being challenged in all areas of the restaurant, as well as self-development and leadership. Providing the best food experience is our goal and one of the most important part is with the experienced Hostess/Greeter/Takeout Specialist.
Responsibilities include
Serving Bar tables as well as the bar, service bartending g for the whole restaurant, Ticket handling, organization, time delivery, Food orders, Packaging, Sanitation, Takeout and FOH Staff/Sushi Chef communication and interaction. Active contribution to the direction of Japanese Authentic cuisine through sushi specials production knowledge of Full Fish/Sushi Menu items, side items, multi tasking, team work.
Be able to, and know when to effectively step in and help on any of the sushi stations or expo
Be fully versed in the prep, product, and timely execution of all food items and gauging precise customer wait food delivery times
The Bartender should set an example by living Traditional Japanese cultural values; understand the philosophy on service and hospitality, passion for food and beverage, execution, and maturity.
