We are a growing, small locally-owned restaurant and we are currently seeking a dedicated Assistant Front of House Manager with the hopes you will grow in this role and have the ability to take over as General Manager of our establishment.
Duties:
Assisting the current General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant that include but are not limited to:
o Ensuring incoming and current staff are trained in and comply with company policies
o Interviewing/recruiting new employees
o Maintaining safety and food quality standards
o Handle customer issues, complaints and build a rapport with our ever-growing clientele
o Oversee Bar Program, ordering, inventory and par levels
o Supervise daily shift operations and report on servers, bar, back of house goings on and any issues that arise, 86’d items and more
o Correctly and accurately handling all service cash outs, reports and maintaining an accurate bank
o Coordinating daily front- and back-of-house restaurant operations
Qualifications and Requirements
A high school education or higher
Previous restaurant experience
Prior work as a manager or supervisor
Success with customer service
Training in food safety
Experience with long shifts
Financial literacy and computer skills
Ability to keep inventory organized
Reliable transportation
Positive attitude, organized and punctual
