Supply Chain Associate

Responsibilities: Candidates will be supporting the Perioperative Surgical Services by pulling surgical supplies, building case carts via Pixis software, and delivering trays to the appropriate departments/locations (operating rooms) in support of scheduled surgeries. Candidates will also work with Vendors to ensure they have access to the necessary trays and ensure all trays are processed through Central Sterilization appropriately. These responsibilities can be monotonous and repetitive, so candidates must pay close attention to detail. Candidates must be comfortable spending most the day on their feet. o Level 1 staff are required to distribute and restock supplies in the OR following established policies and procedures. Perform cycle count, and check expiration dates. Demonstrates excellent customer service when interacting with end customers. Must have the ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally. 10-25 pounds of force frequently and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.  The exertional requirements to push/pull the unloaded and loaded supply carts with the duty requiring up to 100 pounds of exertional force daily. Reaching, lifting, stooping and bending are frequent in daily duties.
