Description We are in search of a Staff Accountant in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is pivotal in our team, focusing on maintaining and processing financial records and documents. This is a short-term contract opportunity, ideal for someone with experience in the accounting industry. Responsibilities: Coordinate and execute general accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Conduct regular bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance Prepare and post monthly journal entries Oversee the month-end close process, verifying all financial data Ensure all financial operations are in line with legal standards and our company's policies Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, and SAP to process financial transactions Maintain accurate financial records and prepare clear and accurate reports for management. Requirements Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Demonstrated experience in Bank Reconciliations Familiarity with General Ledger management Experience in preparing and posting Journal Entries Proven ability to handle Month End Close processes Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounting tasks Working knowledge of Oracle for financial management Experience in QuickBooks for accounting and bookkeeping Skilled in using SAP for business operations and customer relations Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Adherence to ethical standards and compliance with relevant regulations Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to handle confidential information responsibly Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
