Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM is currently seeking a Senior Roadway Engineer to be based in Raleigh, North Carolina . In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work on exciting major highway projects in Raleigh and across North Carolina.

Lead Engineer : You’ll take the lead on mid- to large-sized projects, providing specialized technical input to studies and design within your area of expertise.

Guidance and Management : Offer guidance to all staff and potentially manage a small team.

Approval and Quality Control : Approve and sign off on work, ensuring quality control reviews of work developed by others.

Technical Expertise : Provide technical expertise for studies and design efforts.

Client Interaction : Present complex technical solutions to clients.

Budget and Schedule : Estimate engineering budgets and schedules to meet requirements on large projects.

QualificationsMinimum:

BS Civil Engineering

8 years of civil engineering roadway design experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred:

NCDOT client experience

MicroStation ORD experience and proficiency

The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
