Our employees deliver mission-critical solutions to our customers’ most challenging energy management requirements.Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking a Scrum Master- Embedded Systems. This role can be based remote in the United States.The expected annual salary range for this role is $112,000 - $165,000 a year.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:The Scrum Master - Embedded Systems is primarily responsible for leading new product development of software, embedded software, and electronic control projects by effectively leveraging industry standard best practices and software development playbook. They will drive the delivery of software/firmware releases and facilitate the related agile processes.In this role you will:

Lead activities related to new product development including planning, estimating, designing, peer review, integration, and release by leveraging software development best practices.

Coaches the team on Agile Principles and ensures accountability

Facilitates all scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-Up, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Retrospectives

Keeps the team focused on deliverables by working with team manager to remove impediments

Identifies purposeful metrics and measures team progress

Partner with the product owners and development team to ensure that all requirements and specification of embedded software subsystems are defined, and targets are met.

Assists team as a designer through different aspects of design process including user research, sketching, storyboarding, prototyping

Work closely with other designers and developers to guide the product from inception through delivery.

Bridge the gaps in communications between the software team and project managers

Drives Continuous Improvement activities to improve collaboration, communication and efficiency in addition to reducing operational waste

Qualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution

Minimum of seven (7) years work experience in engineering or program management

Minimum of two (2) years work experience as Scrum Leader or Facilitator

Preferred Qualifications:

4+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environment

Scrum Master Certification (CSM or PSM I)

Skills:

Composed in stressful situations and flexible to change

Proficient facilitator who builds collaborative teams

Active Listener, open-minded, and objective

Builds Trust/Partnerships with all stakeholders

Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills

Familiarity with embedded software and real-time operating systems and their impacts on the feasibility of design solutions.

The ability to grasp complex and sometimes diverse customer needs and distill them into clean, understandable solutions.

Excellent communication and facilitation skills
